Drive across the magnificent panorama of the Willochra Plain to cross the Willochra Creek and see the Simmonston (on the gravel side road) and Gordon ruins (on the highway). Throughout this drive you will see many ruins, the evidence of falsely placed enthusiasm last century about the agricultural potential of the region.
