No matter where you are staying
in our area, the following drive is a highly recommended part of your Flinders Ranges
experience - the drive that takes in Bunyeroo Gorge, Aroona Valley and Brachina
Gorge.
Although normally suitable for
all types of vehicles, great care must be taken when driving through or along creekbeds.
The road may be closed after rain - please observe all restrictions.

Depending on how much time you
have and where you are staying allow at least half a day to explore this scenic and rugged
part of the National Park. Better still is to camp overnight in this magnificent
environment. For those visiting during the hotter months a refreshing waterhole may
usually be found. |

Take time to absorb the
information given along the Brachina Gorge Geological Trail and if there at sunset or
sunrise you may be rewarded with sightings of the elusive Yellow-footed Rock Wallabies. |
